Smoky Quartz from Arkansas

These smoky quartz specimens are from Arkansas — an area known for beautiful quartz crystals.  These specimens are not naturally smoky, but have been irradiated to create the dark color.  The crystals are striking, lustrous, and very showy.

ID# 501-251 Smoky quartz cluster.  Very nice cluster of quartz crystals with very lustrous faces.  Bottom of specimen is covered with smaller terminated crystals.  This specimen has been irradiated to create the smoky color.  Maximum dimension approximately 2.8” (71mm)
