These specimens all came from the Sleeping Princess property. Very dark smoky quartz with specular hematite. It is really interesting how the hematite only coats select faces. The hematite is very “glittery” in appearance, which doesn’t photograph well. This combination is quite showy with the silvery glitter on a black backdrop. |
